From time to time we come across other companies that we really like their product or customer service that we want to highlight for our customers. eSalon does both; great product and customer service. Some of us are very exclusive to only coloring at a salon and others to only hair coloring at home. Whether it is price, color coverage or convenience, we all have our opinion. There is a new option in the mix with eSalon.com. They provide at home hair color that is delivered and also selected based on your profile.
When visiting the site, answer questions to help them personalize a hair color that is right for you and for your hair. The process was easy and painless. Once I placed my order it was only a few days until it arrived. The cost is regularly $24.95 or if you enroll in auto-delivery it is $19.95. They have a very thorough support section to answer any question that might come up and have real people that you can talk to about questions.
I ordered a custom color and went to work. My hair color is brassy from the sunny summer we have had and I needed a pick me up. I filled out my profile and it selected Golden (6.3-0-ll) for my new shade.
Side note: I received an email from eSalon and it had 16 “your” words in the email. Sounds funny but it brought me back to being personalized and custom just for me.
What do you get in the box: one custom hair color, toner for mixing, stain guard, stain remover, 2 pairs of gloves, and one time use shampoo and conditioner to used immediately after.
I received the product and followed the directions that came with the product. I have long hair and was questionable if I would receive enough hair color or need to buy a second box. Bonus: they send enough based on your length. I had the perfect amount and it covered all my hair. Everything is very easy to do and understand.
After 30 minutes and then rinse out time, I was done.
Here are my before and afters:
My color definitely absorbed the color and covered my grays. My hair feels think and not dry or brittle. My hair says, “Hello fall, see you next season summer!”
