Are You at Risk for Heart Disease? February is National Heart Disease Month

February is National Heart Disease month and focuses on learning about risks and how to improve heart health.

Friday, February 5th is National Wear Red Day.  In an effort to promote heart disease awareness, wear red and show your support.  For more information on events in your area in February visit Go Red for Women.

According to the American Heart Association, “Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year. That’s approximately one woman every minute!”
