Valentine’s Date Ideas

Valentine’s Day is coming up and we have put together some of our favorite date ideas for the holiday or any other time you are looking for date night suggestions.

Paint Night.  Visit a paint night where you sip wine and paint.  All levels of artists are welcome at these outings as there is an instructor leading the class.  It can be a special time where you are doing something new together.  There are usually offers available on Groupon in multiple areas.

Ice Skating.  Why not?  Indoor or outdoor ice skating rinks are a great outing during this winter holiday.  Hold hands and skate to the music playing over the speakers.  Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa after to warm up.

Wine Bar Crawl.  Instead of just visiting one wine bar – go to two or three.  Share small bites and enjoy the atmosphere while trying new varieties of wine.  There is always an Uber just a click away to drive you home.

Take a Dance Class.  Dancing with the Stars has brought back the excitement of ballroom dancing.  Locate a dance studio in your area and see if they are hosting a Valentine’s Day dance.  It may sound a little intimidating but there will be instruction and it is a great source of exercise.  Arthur Murray is a national chain of studios or even your local park and recreation office might be hosting or know of a local event.

Spa Outing.  Make a reservation for a couples massage at a spa and treat both of you to some stress relief.  It is a great time to treat your partner and yourself and unwind.  Enjoy some champagne afterword to celebrate the day.  SpaWeek has discount offers and links to book appointments through out the US.

Go out on the town with other couples.  Celebrate the evening with a group of couples.  Add some fun to the evening and go out for dinner and a comedy show.  Do something fun together and mix it up.  Typically Valentine’s Day is exclusive but why not try something different?

Plan a themed dinner at home.  What is your partner’s favorite type of food or select a specific theme.  It could be as simple as Italian night and your theme includes antipasti and red wine  or a fondue night with bite sized food for dipping and soft rock playing in the background.

The possibilities are endless.  Share what your favorite Valentine’s Date Night ideas here.  And most of all… Happy Valentine’s Day.
