It’s that time of year as August comes to an end and September begins that we officially start thinking about fall. But fall is not just about back to school clothes it is about change and a fresh start. The change could be in hair color, skin care or clothes. People start nesting for winter and reenter the kitchen with fall baking and seeking out cozy options. Fall is a reminiscent time of year and can also bring new beginnings for families, friends and coworkers that can help set the stage for the rest of the year.
Here are some of our fall favorites to add to your list.
Caramel spice tea. Not everyone is a PSL or Pumpkin Spice Latte lover. Variety is the spice of life and we think it’s good to have options for all. When we think of fall we are dreaming of caramel and spice teas and coffee as an alternative to pumpkin spice lattes.
Here are ideas for fall flavors for coffee and tea.

Camel colored jackets. Every year a staple is added to the hot item list for the season. This fall we think it is a camel colored jacket. This piece can be dressed up for work or a night out but could also be worn on the weekends for errands. The color is amazing and neutral to pair with other colors like burgundy, navy, black or white. Look for a jacket that will carry you from fall into winter but choosing one that could work for cooler fall nights and then winter afternoons when layers are added underneath.
Boots, boots and more boots. With cooler weather, cowl neck sweaters, soccer games and visits to the pumpkin patch – boots are a must for fall. There are so many options out there from short to tall, warm to lightweight or wear to work or rain. Boots come in so many colors and are used for many outings. Here are some of our favorite boots for work, weekend, and rain.
Fall skin care. Sun can wreak havoc on skin and leave its mark with darker spots, freckling and irritation. Try Apothederm Bright Skin Serum to help with uneven skin tones. It has a combination of malic and mandelic acids with SmartPeptide™ biotechnology to gently help with areas that have darkened. Also we recommend adding a toner to help with any excess oil that can occur with changing seasons.
Caramel colored hair. Time to color over you sun faded highlights and add some caramel or copper tones. Hair can be dried out from summer activities and need added hydration. We recommend adding a deep treatment service to your hair at your favorite salon or do a deep treatment at home 1 to 3 times over a couple of weeks.
Apple crisp. We love a good dessert and the combination of apples and cinnamon are the perfect combination in any crisp recipe. They are not difficult to make and are time savers in the kitchen. Plus the varieties are endless with fruit options of apple, berry, peach or rhubarb and they can customize with different spices or add-ons like chocolate or coconut. Here is one of our coworker’s apple crisp recipes that is low sugar and a favorite in our office.
