Below is a table that highlights the several different foundation formulas, what their coverage is, and the types of skin they’re usually best suited for. It is important to note that there are always exceptions to the common characteristics of the foundation types.  As an example, those with dry skin can find that certain powder foundations are actually great options for them. Some powder foundations can be hydrating.  Or, those with oily skin can still use a stick foundation if they chose an oil-free one and set it with a powder. Many foundations are adaptable to your needs.
